Have been doing that to my solara and x3. Using cheap silicone from AliExpress for a dollar. Lasting over a year already.
Good deal, I've done this for odd blade attachments before. The Subaru 05+ Outback wagon rear wiper most recently got a custom blade insert.
I buy the Bosch blades for about 28 bucks on Amazon.
I just Googled "BMW E39 wiper blades" and found one set for $16 that might work but several other in the low $20's that appear to be exact fits. Using your statement, I went to Walmart and they don't even list a 24 or 26" Michelin WWB. They do have a 21" that's $8.63. So, were you wrong as to where you bought as your price is way off and they are not shown online. And if they are at least $8-10 at Walmart. I'd rather buy a complete, correctly and accurately assembled, new set for $23. Or even the $20 you listed.
Do you have to buy your wiper blades like that with the arm included? Cant you just buy the refills? You know just the rubber blade?
