Dude props for doing this in the snow and rain and mud lol that's fucking awesome, I live in Illinois, rust belt sucks to work on shit with hand tools and outdoor on top of that, wish I still had my Dakota

Hrothgar O' Dhughaill says:

Any clearance issues lifting your hood with that light bar? My headlights are garbage especially when it rains, been thinking about one of those you have installed.

Eva Birchfield says:

How did the dakota ride after you lift it

trials_bike2000 says:

Would you trust an eBay 3 inch leveling lift for a daily driver that sometimes is taken on some pretty rough off-road trails. 3 inch rear blocks and different torsion keys for the front. Not even sure if I wanna lift my truck at all but if I did that's what I would do

Kade Wildman says:

Hey man can you send me the link to this lift? And they torsion lift key for the front? And also will this fit on a 2wd Dakota quad cab?

iron 1000 says:

Thank God I live in California…Rust free….

Jeff Adamczak says:

Finally someone other then me working on rusty salted up shit!!! Yeah!!! Props to you man! All these other videos I have looked at are all some where else with no salt on the roads… also yah can move the led light above you front plate, u have to cut the plastic that holds the front bumper apart but just remove enough them to where the light fits then drill holes in the other plastics u didn’t cut out and mount the light to those it makes it tight and hides the light

Eric Weiser says:

I would put the re indexed keys on the front, it will reduce the stress on the torsion bars a lot

I have a 2000 dodge dakota club cab 4×4….. your truck is the only one I have seen with the same amber fire pearl paint job

Gedo Cowboy says:

Nice video dude. I cranked my torsion bars on my 98 Durango about a year ago and it’s still riding smooth. I think it was 7 or 8 turns, I don’t remember, but it has to be almost 3 inches. I wound up having to replace the upper control arm ball joints, well worth it though. That’s an easy cheap fix. I’m thinking it’s because they were probably 20 years old. I liked the front up ass down look, but now I’m about to add a cheap 2 inch hanger lift in the back. The front’s so high I think it’ll still give me that stance I like.

Jimmy Schmidt says:

Nice. I have one of these.
