Flexi Flares Install × Discovery 2, Land Rover

Didn’t find much online describing the install of these 75mm Flexi Flares for a Discovery (even less for a Discovery 2 like mine) short of a few forum posts with limited photos… so here’s a run through of how I mounted mine.

Tinker says:

NOTE: It's worth mentioning that the plastic screw-caps didn't hold up too well. Many fell off or wouldn't stay closed over the screw & they started rusting pretty quick. I'd recommend skipping the plastic caps altogether & getting some shorter more aggressively threaded screws with either a flanged head or a washer. Do yourself a favor & choose a good anti-corrosion coating (eco guard, ceramic coat, yellow zinc, etc). I would NOT recommend stainless screws though, as water & salt can react with the aluminum body panels & accelerate corrosion of the both fasteners & the body (i.e. galvanic corrosion).

Frank Pineda says:

Where did you get those flares? I have a Land Rover as well

Bruce Gonsalves says:

Sinon says:

Nice job, but i've got one question, why u didn't secure fresh cutted space after all with anti-corrosive paint or something ?
Krylon would do better job after placing it on underlay like Corizon or something like it.

Jake Ballard says:

I normally get irritated and leave if the presenter refuses to speak and waves things in front of the camera instead… But you actually do a good job of explaining things with pure gestures. Good work, mate.
