The “glass” is lexan and the noise both increases and decreases in the
cabin. There is definitely less wind and road noise but the hard top does
creak quite a bit especially with altered suspension.
Forbidden painted my FRP top Silverstone, and it is an exact match for my
car’s paint. It is much cooler in hot weather than the black soft top,
because light colors reflect heat better than dark. I’m using OEM front
latches and the Forbidden OEM-type rear latches, have no more squeaks than
with the stock soft top. But, in spite of thinking I was being very
careful, I cut the seals incorrectly so it will probably leak in the rain
and the top sits about 15mm too high in the back; I can see daylight
between the seal and the body. That will most definitely leak!
Busy with other life things now, but I’ll get to it and make it right.
Suggest Forbidden publish instructions of the best known practice for
cutting seals to length and waterproofing them at the corners. I’m sure
someone out there has this down.

aformonzo, I believe Forbidden gives you the option to have your roof
painted to match the color of your car prior to shipping.

I want to get a hard top but do the hard top comes with the rear glass or I
have to find a place that will cut a glass for it?. by the way thanks for

where does the soft top goes? do you remove that completely?
as asetone like degreaser? and looks good man, but for me id have it match
the colour of the s2k. do forbidden usa do plain fiberglass that we could
paint?
