@nukem384 sweet, thanks bro have a good wekend.
@great132 check your dip stick
why didn’t u uae the fill hole
short and simple! Thanks
since my manual 2003 element doesnt have a torque converter. SHOULD i just
do the fluid change one time or should i repeat 3times every hundred or so
miles to clean it out b/c its gone 130k miles WITHOUT transmission fluid
drain/fill. please let me know
@AmbassadorRoc genuine honda fluid, always
how u know if its full …
Thank you for this video. The turkey baster tube tip is a must as this
dipstick opening is smaller than my smallest automotive funnel. It does
make the refill of fluid slow going, but effective.
@LerdoBurgerPimp since your pilot is a different gen, its possible. id buy
4 and keep checking the dip stick, you can always return the unused qt if
necessary
@DtoWnSux1 changing your fluid a few times within a few hundred miles isnt
going to cause your tranny to slip. youre in a way basically just wasting
fluid, but not since its so dirty from not being changed in forever
Yes.
@salinabear im just pro like that, haha jk, thanks!
how many qt trasmission fluid do I put in my honda pilot 2004?
can i use royal purple ATF in my MDX?
Is your Pilot a 4WD? Good video.
4 qts? The honda guy told me it would need only 3 qts. i got an 09 pilot
4×4
@nukem384 u think doing this will cause trany to start slipping? or is that
just if u flush it or drove it really rough?
@cavemanjoe79 yes auto. and no filter.
@DtoWnSux1 id go for the repeat 3 times since your oil must be superrrr
dirty over 130k
@nukem384 Yes it took 4 qts of transmission fluid. Your vid inspired me,
next i will do the diff thanks bro XD
hey nukem I can’t find z1 anymore, am I able to use atf dw1 for my 04
pilot? thanks
ahh you make it look so easy
Did you have jack the car up to access the drain bolt?
@area859 this will work on the 03-07 pilot for sure. there are different
ways to fill the tranny, i just find the dip stick hole the easiest
Really? We never learned how to set the car in park, change gasket, filter
and test the gears to make sure everything was done properly and later on
regret oil leaks under the car…you must be one of those who believe in 99
cents lesson on a DVD to learn something.
how many quarts of oil did you end up using?
Does a filter need changing also?
yep totally fine. the dw1 is a newer version of the z1, better formulated
@mikeylee2001 actually only 30k. the tranny fluid gets dirty fast.
The trans fluid coming out of there looked nasty.
@Diabloscampeones9 4 qts will do
