Wow. That has to be the easiest bearing-swap I have EVER SEEN! I tried this
on an old ’93 Subaru that I had… Took several hours for the whole job.
This looks like a 45 minute job.
Could it have been possible to remove that bearing cover first before
taking off the drum?

Most likely the bearing failed because of the amount of millage on it.

Hey Richpin, can you show the old bearing – what it looks like/inside when
its fubar? Also what are you looking for when you inspect for a bad bearing
(if you can inspect without taking off the 30mm nut) thanks
Hi.. i was wondering why haven’t you just changed the bearing inside the
hub and not the whole hub assembly. it would be cheaper i guess to buy the
bearing alone and then install it in the old hub.

2000 Plymouth Neon

are gone.
Should be no more than 2 hours.
You would not save anything replacing just the bearing because of the low
cost of the hub assembly.
No grease needed?
do you have a video of replacing the brake shoes or tighting the brake
cable on the neon?
How do I tighten the lock nut without the torque wrench
