Question. I have a 96′ caprice when I use the test light on the ignition
switch(red cable) is the light suppose to light up. I’m just wondering
because I accidentally let that cable and the ground touch.
I have a nissan sentra 94, i found out constant and switch power wire, but
i cant find the ground to it. where should i look to find this ground? can
i splice into the black wire of the cigarette? or drill into a metal bar i
found at the back of my stereo?
bro this video is really helpful thanks but just a question for the stereo,
like for the new stereo did u get a dash kit to fix in your dashboard or
use the old one ?
@Duhitpt why don’t you use the same ground ref. point that i used in this
video. You don’t need to drill and the cigarette lighter ground is subject
to unwanted noise when heavy amperage devices such as Ac power inverters
and the actual cigarette lighter itself is plugged into the socket
im trying to install and aftermarket stereo into my 99 chrysler lhs and ive
connected all the wires to the right ones and theres no power to the radio
i dont have the ground wire connected because theres no black ground wire
in the lhs original harness so do i need to connect the ground wire to a
metal screw or bolt to get any kind of power?
Respond to this video… if this radio has DVD video capability then you
can connect the pink wire to the emergency brake leaver to enable video
viewing while parked! this wire requires a negative ground trigger
Seems like there is a LOT of good info in this video but constant shaking
is giving me migraine. Next time you make any video, please get some one to
shoot the video. I am not giving lipservice but whatever I saw in just
first 7 minutes, there is a lot info, no other video on yourtube has given
me.
Precisionconnection, Thanks for putting these videos up bro. MADD helpful!!
I was able to install my moms radio (aftermarket) yesterday after viewing
your step by step video once. You good at this bro. Thanks a lot my man. I
will be following you for more advice. Peace.
man i used a friggin wire harness and still couldnt get it to work, it was
all wired up right, but it wouldn’t turn on, it was really pissin me off
cuz the headunit was brand new, i guess it was defective
I need help bro I’m trying to connect my same Nissan sentra but I don’t
know which one is the battery wire I tried the pink wire but not sure if
it’s that one please help
When they stole my radio the wires sparked and smoked a bit. Now I went to
install a new radio and I am not able to get power to my new radio. I have
a 02 sentra. :/ Can the wires go bad?
i have and 02 sentra which is almost identical to this one, evertime i turn
on my car i have to redo all of my presets in my jvc stereo head. when i
was wiring it the diagram i used didnt work so i had to connect four wires
together and it somehow wored. but no memory any suggestions?????
this is pretty good. I have the same car. So I got a problem. What is the
pink wire? My new CD player has 4 wires. One is remote turn-on, which will
not be used I think. One is to the grand. One is Accessory saying connect
to ignition circuit or switched 12 volt source. Does this one connect to
the pink wire? The last one is memory saying connect to battery circuit or
constant 12 volt source. Can you tell me how to connect them? Thank you.
