DUDE THANKS!!! Seriously, you just saved me close to $400…thinking that
taking my door panel off and replacing my window regulator would definitely
have to be something only a pro mechanic would have to do. Now, I could do
these replacements all day. I have a ’97 Infiniti I30t (basically the same
body, door and parts as your Maxima) and I picked up a window regulator w/
motor from a salvage yard for $30 and knocked this out. I appreciate your
taking time in demonstrating this diy fix. Peace.
@metrogroovefm When I first started doing stuff like this, I thought the
same; removing a window, replacing a fuel pump, replacing a clutch were all
things that are too far in-depth to be done by a random person, but I
surely found different.
Awesome video! Can we get a video on replacing the rear valve cover gasket?
what if i can’t roll down my window to access the two bolts that holds the
the window? my window motor is dead and stuck half way down. thanks man
I believe on these you can reach the bolts with a wrench even if you aren’t
able to get it in the correct position. If not, you can remove the window
motor from the regulator and move it around manually.
@keoki777 Yes, as soon as I get the time I’ll be doing IACV, UIM, and valve
cover gasket videos (likely separately, to keep them from being too long).
