Raceland says:

The height is adjusted with the adjustable spring perches that raise or lower the spring height. To raise the car, you will turn the perches counter-clockwise and to lower, you will turn the perches clockwise.

Antonio Contreras says:

How do you adjust it to be lowered?.

Raceland says:

Depending on the height adjustment and the amount of camber you are running, you may need longer tie rod ends.

david contreras says:

what other parts are needed for a successful install? tie rod ends camber kits?

Raceland says:

It is a full coilover kit. We have two kits for the RSX, both of which will fit the Type S. Our Ultimo kit (green springs) will have 15% higher spring and damping rates over our entry level kit (red springs), so the ride will be more firm but still comfortable for daily driving.

Raceland says:

We actually ran most of our road testing on an ’05 Type S so we can confirm that the fitment is the same.

Raceland says:

No, they are a full coilover kit that are made to be used with your stock upper strut mounts and bearings.

kuningmuda says:

so these are not like your typical coilover sleeves huh?

Raceland says:

The Ultimos are going to have 15% higher spring and damping rates.

DJxJelloxC says:

whats the difference between the regular coils and the ultimos

Raceland says:

If your upper strut mounts/bearings are worn, we would recommend replacing them. We’ve fit and aligned several RSX models here and we’ve never run into issues with the stock tie rod ends being too short.

Raceland says:

It will be exactly the same process.

Antonio ramos says:

is it the same process for the ultimos?

JC M says:

It looks like you’re installing an Ultimo coil on here. Are you guys working on an Ultimo line for the RSX/EP3?

Raceland says:

You should be able to pick up the top mounts and bearings from your local part store.

isaacrc1212 says:

say the bearings are worn out?, i can get replacement top mounts at any local part stores

Raceland says:

That’s correct. You will also want to make sure that your upper strut bearings are in good condition. If they are worn, you will hear evidence of spring bind which will eventually cause damage to the coilovers which is not covered under warranty.

isaacrc1212 says:

you have to use the stock top ep3/dc5 mounts right?

Raceland says:

The EP3 install will be very similar.

ivan dankanich says:

yes they are.

sachboy1 says:

Does this pretty much apply to the ep3 civic as well? Ep3 and dc5 are similar.
