Yea the only reason a 5.9l would go bad is because of the user.
do you have a video on just the valve cover gasket ? can you let me know

@demchevyboyz That is a matter of opinion. This engine was beyond one of
those “engine flush” chemicals. Bad part about those chemicals and yes i
may break some sludge loose and dissolve it but it more what about the
particles that don’t liquidize? Clogs up the oil pump and screen and you
have even more problems to do with. Personally if it was me I stay away
from those and just keep my oil changes as frequent as possible.

What causes this. I get regular oil changes, but i have an 02 Durango with
a lot of miles on it. Is there something other than that I can do in terms
of prevention?
How many miles were on it?

@preppyboysauto hi would getting a motor flush help prevent such a thing
because last time i was at my local quick lube they recommended that i get
one but was not sure if it would help or are they just trying to get a
extra buck out of me
