Was it making a screeching noise. That's what mine is doing
Goes away after about 3/5 minutes
Keeping my belt on the right track is not a waste of money skate board bearing cost more than one of these things dont be a haq
I can put my skateboard bearings in there and fix it on the cheap
❤❤❤❤❤ Ty brother ❤❤❤❤❤
Why waste $30 on a brand new part good for 10 years, when you could spend an hour repacking the dry, worn out bearings that'll last 10 days?
Just buy a new one guys they’re only like $40 bucks that’s pocket change come on guys!!
This fixed lased for about 100 miles then the bearing failed
Are those bones or redds?
I like to press the bearing out and then replace it with a new one. Very easy to do.
I want to hear before and after
Sooooo if the grease came out because of a bad seal, you just slapped a band-aid on it and they’ll squeal again in another few thousand miles.
I would only do this in a pinch so you can go grab the part. If you do this and the bearing completely fails, you will likely have to spend a lot more money. If you can buy the part I would buy the new one!
If it was really dry inside the bearing housing. It's not a good bearing. It's gone.
What's with the plural
Only the second one you see in the video is a Tensioner Pulley. The first one is likely an Idler Pulley. It's quite rare for a car to have multiple Tensioner Pulleys.
Damage has already been done to the bearing, so go ahead and throw some grease in it along with the ground up Club sure that’ll fix it another backyard mechanic that think you know what they’re doing
cmon!!! buy the individual bearings and press them into those pulleys….do it the right way, then you save money and have new loaded pulleys….this is just cutting corners. if you're charging people and it is not your own car then total new pulleys every single time it needs it
Just buy a new one they are cheap
Timing kit is commonly agreed worldwide scam
Just buy new ones
Thank u good job
This is why whenever I have a part replaced i make the mechanic save the old part so i can see it.
Keep up the great content
Man just replace it. It's 20-30 dollars and NEVER have to worry about that part failing for the rest of the time you own the vehicle. If it was running dry, you probably did some amount of damage to the bearing and in 10,000 miles will have to replace it anyway.
This works. I’ve done it. When it fails again, probably time to replace it. It’s been 6 year now, still waiting for it to fail.
Not regarding replacement but I use a needle grease gun fitting to inject grease into items like these and sealed ball joints etc. Don’t overfill them but for my money it’s a great way to lubricate things like that. My pet peeve is no grease fittings on vehicles anymore.
