When you lend your car to someone you have the option to limit the car’s functions using a Red Key. Amongst other things, you can set a speed limit or the maximum volume for the speakers.
Red Key
A Red Key is an extra key that makes it possible to restrict some of the car’s functions, which can give you a sense of security when you lend your car to a younger driver, for example, or when you take your car in for service. In addition to being able to set a speed limit and the maximum volume for the speakers, many of the car’s driver support functions are automatically activated when a Red Key is used.
Red Key settings
Using your normal key, you can make settings for the Red Key in the centre display’s top view: SettingsSystemDriver ProfilesRed Keys.
