Volvo V70 MK2 Complete Headlight Replacement – How To Remove Lights and Front Bumper 00-07 V70 YES

Today I replaced the headlights on V70 YES as after 296k and several attempts to polish them back up they are visibly too dull to pass the MOT and to be honest I’m glad because they were getting useless on unlit roads at night.

The lights are TYC which is a Taiwanese aftermarket replacement costing £110 each. My first choice is OEM but with 4 cars to run on a budget I couldn’t justify spending £500 for a genuine pair on what is unfortunately now my least used car.

Hi just wondering i am on the market for a station wagon and I am caught between getting a Passat b6 2L diesel auto up to 2010 or getting a Volvo v70 2.5 diesel D5 automatic up to 2007, what do u think, thanks

thanks for the video , im changing out my siren module and heard there was a better way to do it , taking out the head lamp seems to be a simple approach. looks like you have a big lump on your hand did you hurt it ??

Thanks, great video. I have the 2007 XC70 and it has the same hopeless design. When I replace a defective DIM light bulb without removing the whole unit, I use a piece of PVC pipe to place the lamp with a mirror. You have to have a lot of patience, but I do it again and again.

Thats not a mk2 V70
