►Keep your Volvo Haldex 5 system in perfect working order with a simple fluid change. This Haldex system service kit includes everything you need in order to change the gear oil on your Volvo.
It’s important to note that 5th generation Haldex systems do not come with filters. Because of this, it is extremely important to regularly service the Haldex system to prevent premature failure.
Jay VanGorden, one of our resident Volvo gurus and Volkswagen Catalog Manager is here to walk you through the steps required to service the Haldex system on a Volvo XC70. While he does the work on the XC70, this DIY applies directly to how to service the Volvo S60 Haldex system as well.

S60 2011 is it gen 4 ?
Where are the best spots to place your jack stands under?
does this include a 2018 volvo xc90?
Nice clean job❤
Thanks for the video, I ask you if you can help me with the differential of my 2014 Volvo activate the rear differential.
Small fact: if I have the differential light turned off by my mechanic, the differential is reactivated until I turn the car off.
Can you help me in Volvo just to look at it they ask me €250.
I would like to understand if it is a defect of the hadlex5 or a small thing.
A thousand thanks
any more of preventative maintenance tips for these cars?
Word to the wise – use a quarter instead of a dime. It's MUCH easier to turn. Trust me.
