Volvo D5 Thermostat Replacement – How To DIY

Volvo D5 Thermostat Replacement – How To DIY

After doing the job and refilling the coolant be sure to squeeze the hoses with the engine running and once the engine has warmed up the vents are blowing hot air into the cabin. This engine isn’t prone to coolant airlock but it is possible. You may fill the system but a few days later have to top up as any remaining air is eliminated from the system. After a few days, with the car cold, check the level and top up as necessary.
