I did the thermostat already, worked ok for a day, then started to sputter again and the temperature goes erratic. i’ll change the temp sensor. I’ll keep you advised.

Likely a temp sensor problem. I would start with changing it with the thermostat.

did replacing the temp sensor fix the starting problems? i have similar issues, my temp guage inside the vehicle goes up and down with no gradual increase in temp. any idea?

I like the torques better than Phillips but they seem to be soft.

I hate torx. I own a 94 BMW and I’ve stripped many of those. I either jam a small socket around it and pray it doesn’t round off or I grab on to it with some vice grips
