Also worked on a 2007 V70. Doing this is the worst! Other V70’s I’ve owned
had more space so you could do it with your hand. Later ones have easy ways
to pull the light assembly out. This one just sucks. I would have taken it
into a shop had I known how much trouble changing the light would be. These
instructions were great. Using a socket and extension to collapse the
clamps on the air filter was really helpful.
Thanks for the tip in the airbox fasteners! Found a 12 point socket worked
better than 6, 11/32 worked for me, Wish there was an electronic way to buy
you a beer, friend!
Nice video!! This actually was very useful in changing the low beam in my
2005 S60. Other vids and the manual show it as some easy on/off
replacement. I knew I had to remove the air box. It was easy after
following these instructions. Thanks!!
You da man, thanks. Exactly the same for my 2006 s60.

Great instructions, complicated car! the volvo user manual totally does not
mention all these required steps for the drivers side light.

I used a 9mm socket to compress the airbox retainers on my 2006 V70 2.5T.
Worked like a champ. Thanks for the very helpful video.
