On my V50, one of my headlight units is going to need some buffing and maybe a bit of glueing in due time, but it’s such a relief knowing it is so easy to pull it out and work on it.
Volvo is owned by the Chinese now operating under the same brand name. But who's actually building the car's now the Chinese or the swedes. Because if the Chinese are building their engines you certainly can expect a engine full of plastic parts unlike Volvo of the past that had all wrought iron engine parts. !
they’ve always been one of the best engineered cars for mechanics. if i’m not mistaken the cars also have a sloped pan so when u change oil it goes exactly where u want
i had that feature on my 2008 s40
Try going that on a 2005 S60. Front bumper needs to come off to change the bulbs

They should have also add coolant sensor, longer gearbox oil dipstick and not hide the power steering fluid container under the headlight
That is the engineering we need to see more of
Is this the case with the v50 volvo?
No coolant level sensor or oil temp sensor from factory really grinds my gears
For me as Volvo user since ca 25yrs it is normal, but recently been asked to change bulbs in mazda 6…almost mission Impossible ffs
Ha ha bumper off headlamp removal for a headlamp bulb on my 2005 v70 but with 340000 on the clock she's still going strong

I'm driving behind you!
You discovered America again, this already had a ford mondeo mk3!!
Ah yes my favorite P1 design. Only wish they’d put a level sensor in with the coolant tank smh
They stole this idea from the mk3 mondeo. It's a good thing, every car should do this.

Gotta love Volvo thinking. Had that on my XC90
