I have this same model, but I found that my expansion tank has orange coolant in it. I would like to flush this out. Would my engine have any negative effects from the orange coolant and would it be a bad idea to switch back to the OEM stuff?

William Springle says:

Very helpful. Thank you. Would like to see video on belt and tensioner replacement on the Volvo 3.0 turbo. Can't find anything on that

Thanks for the video. I'm curious what symptoms or issues led to the replacement of this part?

Why was the belly pan removed? Why was the hose taken off the throttle body removed from underneath the car. Asking for a friend looks like someone in the comment section got it done without?

I did my 08 xc90 with out having to take anything off aside from the actual thermostat. There is plenty of room to get in there with a 1/4 driver and small extension

Why is the throttle body connection removed?

Also, you don’t need to change the heater controls in that vehicle. They don’t have a heater control valve. Heat is controlled by damper doors in the HVAC box. The heater core is always at full flow.

Nam Pham says:

Love the detailed video! I see you repping a few Milwaukee tools there! Love it!
