This is a great instructional video. Before you buy a new master switch, try to clean with air can and electronic cleaner first. I did twice and it worked ( VIP: disconnected and reconnect all) . btw: A1 Auto doesn't sell this switch.

Metal on Plastic is a textbook no-no. You are leaving permanent marks all over the car. Trim tools are cheap.

I was told by a Volvo technician that if I replaced the switch/module it would need to be programmed. Is this true? Or can I buy the swith and replace it if its clicking like crazy and not working anymore?
