I'm getting ready to do this repair. I was going to take in to the shop but with this video I know I can do it!

T.J. Aminzadeh says:

Although this is not the hardest repair ever, the visual tutorial was an excellent tool and saved valuable time. Thank you.

keith brown says:

Thank you for such a timely response. Thats the kicker, the floor is damp. but the carpet on the side panel is dry. I will replace it because I have had the car 4 years and understand that this a mandatory maintenance part.

keith brown says:

Great video…my question is i dont have a major leak and haven't had to refill coolant. What is happening is that i'm smelling that sweet antifreeze smell and when it rains or gets cold i'm getting moisture on the windows.

nieja221 says:

Thank you very much!
Its take only 30min for me. Volvo 850 🙂

Andrew Keith says:

hi sir I have a Volvo cross country v70xc 2001 would this work to replace my coil it is dripping into floor on both sides please help

VisualAudio7 says:

Maybe someone in the comments can help me out. 98 Volvo S70 T5. When I hit the ECC unit with my hand, the
blower will fire up but not maintain constant RPMs sometimes. I replaced
the ECC with a tested used unit and I still have the same results.
Sometimes when I slide the blower knob up, the heater will come on.
Sometimes it will not. Many times though, if I pop the ECC with my hand
hard enough, the blower will begin to blow sometimes low RPM, sometimes
high RPM. Often times if I slide the blower slider down to the middle,
the blower will slowly come to a complete stop. Something else going on.
Any help from anybody is much appreciated.

Dillon Lammie says:

Thank you! This was very helpful. Exactly what I needed.

michaelXXLF says:

Wouldn't you have the bleed the system after the install?

Martynas Valūnas says:

Thank you, this helped a lot 😉

THANK YOU! I went on the cheap and got the $39.95 Swedish Parts repro core and saved $600.00 over what my shop quoted. And they were on the LOW end of the National Average BTW. Also- I made a diaper out of plastic sheeting and did not distress my old hoses with those clamps.

Simpel420 says:

Superb video! It's not often I actually comment on videos on Youtube – this, however, I felt compelled to do it! Fantastic, informative and easy guide!

Unfortunately I get no heat in the cabin on my S70 T5 -99; the cooling systems coolant fluid has been replaced, the thermostat is changed and everything seems to be good in general, but the heat is still not there and it makes me annoyed. I really have to replace the heater core when winter (I live in Sweden, incidentally – you know, the norht part of the world with snow and ice half the year) now approaches and temperatures far below 0 Celsius is just around the corner.

Again – thanks for your video!

Jeff Schmidt says:

thank you! Goterdun!

judgenabob says:

I unfortunately watched another video before I saw this one. Yes it is very straight forward. The other video did not mention the screw by the aluminum pipes and I couldn't figure why it wouldn't come out. Thanks for saving me big bucks on repair.

RobotShlomo says:

I did all of that, and wouldn't you know I have coolant seeping from the supply tubes. This is why I was going to get rid of the car. I knew that eventually it would become a money pit.

Brian Jones says:

Hi. What a great tutorial. It could not be clearer. I have the same car, so I'm sure this is in my future. Thank you. I have subscribed.
