dongledude says:

can’t believe a Volvo dealership charged me @ $250 for a door panel problem where they had to remove the door panel to do some work.

Ethan Morris says:

Do you have a video on how to take the REAR door panel off?

Fantastic thank you

mysqueeker says:

i have this same exact style door however i have a question. my passenger side front door makes a metal vibrating noise when i play music. louder than 1/4 volume. im thinking it is something to do with the window gears and tracs because when the window is rolled down it dosnt go into the door 100% it stays up out of the door frame about 1.4″ all the other doors work fine. is there any video you have that can help repair that?

Francis Mahe says:

Thank you, thank you. I was about ready to tear those stupid push lock things out. Never thought to push them in farther! Doh…

vasqd says:

Great info! Was able to remove my panel without any issues.

bloodynuggets says:

Looks a lot easier than my 300m! They don’t make the cable/latch long enough.. so when you have the screws out.. and there’s that gap between the panel and the door, well, Chrysler designed it so you have about 1.5″ of clearance compared to what appears to be a solid 6″ on this car. Oh and the push pins on the outside? Not on a Chrysler! Silly little screws which are too close to the edge of the panel and the panel breaks in several spots because of that. It sucks hardcore. /ChryslerRant

Thank you for helping me out good stuff!!!

MrClinky says:

I have an X reg Volvo S80 that I am planning to replace the doors on depending on how difficult, can anyone advise on the best way please?

Mike Wilhelm says:

My door handle had more of an insert that could be removed with a screwdriver, rather than splitting like the one shown. Also it helps to use a nail or something similar to make sure the push pins go in far enough.

SDX9000 says:

Serious car repair shops use wide plastic paddles to remove plastic trim elements. Using a flat screwdriver like shown in the beginning will screw the look of your door handles if you are not lucky enough and some pin holds better than expected!

tbarn9 says:

thx mate big help changing those lame blue window rack clips

Gabriel Martin-Simoneau says:

Good job . I heard the door panel are getting loose and make noise so I have to check it out.
