do you need to lift the car on both sides to relieve the tension?
I just replaced my front shocks last night using your video for that
project to guide me. I used a new pre-assembled strut tower to make things
easier. When I was putting the new struts back in everything was fine up
until the stabilizer link. Not sure if the new strut tower was longer or
something but I ended up jacking the strut up to get the hole on the strut
to line up with the link. Should I replace the existing one with a shorter
link?
We currently do not have a video on this particular repair. We’ll keep this
in mind if we need to make this repair in the future. If you have a Haynes
or a Chiltons manual for your vehicle is should show you how to service
this part.
This will be the same process between the S60 and the S70.
I have a 2002 Volvo S60 that needs new stabilizer links. Are they pretty
much the same as in this video?
Any chance of a video showing the replacing of lower control arm on the
volvo?
You may have to connect them while the suspension on the vehicle is loaded,
and not hanging on a lift.
