working on my 2004 s60 theres no bolt to remove only center bolt how can I
remove it ??

TheTexasCoder says:

@beestingz1 Great question! I did not measure it. I had just purchased it,
and wanted to make sure I started off with a clean slate. Being a used
vehicle, I was unsure of the condition of the brake system and components.
Although, it probably would have been fine having them turned and put back
on, I wanted to sleep well at night and have confidence that I was starting
fresh. Thanks for the comment and the question!

Shan Agrawal says:

if you open the release valve for the brake fluid, wouldn’t it run low on
fluid afterwards? I’m planing on doing the same job but I don’t plan on
bleeding the brakes, so is it worth it??

beestingz1 says:

Are you sure it was time to replace the rotor? Did you mic. the thickness
to see if they were too thin?

beestingz1 says:

Thanks for the great video. I wish I had a camera – I just did my
roommate’s volvo 2001 s40 brakes all around and both cv axels and i bet he
needs new rotors too, but he’s broke, so no dice on that. When I took it
out for a test drive the left front caliper started to squeal when turning
right. Did you use any grease or other compound for squeal prevention?

TheTexasCoder says:

@marroquintos Thanks for the comment, I am glad the video helped!

great vid , two days ago I pulled my e brake gently and heard a snap now my
handle is even more loose. I checked the handle connection and where it
pulls the two cables from rear looks good but still loose is there a way to
tighten the cable from under the car or at each rear wheel?

beestingz1 says:

oops I meant cv axle. 🙂
