Could you please let me know how you jacked up the car. I see that jack stand at the pinch weld, but which point did you use to jack it up. Also the same info for the front would be appreciated. Always been scared that the jack would fail and the whole thing would fall down.

Is removing the caliper mount even necessary? I saw another video where the guy took off the disc easily with the caliper mount in place.
If you Jack the car up, turn it on, put it in neutral and then turn it off. Would that disengage the electronic parking break? So you don't have to buy scan tool?
So when you went back in to turn it on when you pressed enter did it direct you to the next step in turning it on or did you have to do it all over again to turn it on ?
So did you turn of the ignition then press enter or ? And same with the end did you turn it on then pressed the button ?
I have a 2018 VW Atlas AWD and this device wouldn’t work. It said the 2019 models and newer have firewalls built in. But being a 2018 it should have worked. I’m lost
Congrats, very well done. Seems to me your the very first person on Youtube that actually really used new M14 XZN screws like its recommended by Volkswagen. They are expansion screws. They have to get 90 NMeters plus 90 degrees. Reusing them is an absolute no go.

Scan tool is the "right" way, but a very safe and easy method is to simply remove the brake motor itself (two 5mm Allen bolts on the 2018 Atlas) and just turning the inner piston by hand (I used an E12 socket; fit perfectly) clockwise until it stops. I found that to be safe and easy. After turning all the way clockwise, simply compress the piston and then re-attach the caliper motor to the caliper housing. The electric caliper motor has no "memory" of where it is–it just turns until it hits resistance and then backs off when released. After finishing the brakes, pump them a couple of times and then set/release the parking brake 3 times to "calibrate".
