It is mind boggling to what extent VW went with catalytic converter system
which is in itself a pathetic excuse to mask the inefficiency and pollution
of present engines. German engineering at its worst. Looking forward to see
the smoke test. I love those machines, too bad you have to sell a kidney to
own one. It’s making smoke, damn it, not putting you on Mars…

What amazes me is that air pumps went out on American cars about 35-40
years ago. So what is it about the German engineers that they still have to
use an air pump? I just don’t get it. You remember seeing the commercial on
VW and Audi’s where it says “The Power of German Engineering”. Maybe that’s
the problem, we need to take about some of that power and get the engineers
to stop thinking outside the box. Yes, smoke machines are expensive for no
more than what they are.

Dohn Joe says:

I am expecting you to find some cheap plastic part broken/melt or some
equally cheap made in China hose split.

stuzman52 says:

Hey Joe! Yeah, that would be great if it’s some cheap plastic part. Looking
over it pretty quickly as far as the plastic hoses and tubing, I didn’t see
anything obvious. Planning to do a smoke test anyway. Being my luck, it
will probably be something expensive, but I hope not! Thanks for watching.
