We upgraded the 12 volt battery in this 2019 Volkswagen ATLAS to provide much better start/stop performance and longer battery service life. Although this video may provide you with the basic procedures, we recommend that you check with the vehicle manufacture’s step by step procedures found in service/repair manuals for the vehicle you are working on.

The use of a memory saving procedure will keep the memory alive on the vehicle’s computer during the battery replacement procedure. Great video saved me $200. Had no problem doing it without a memory saver.
What kind of memory saver is that and where do I get it/how do I hook it up? Just replaced mine yesterday and got all the errors. Had to have it towed and cleared at the dealer because my steering locked up.
