I found this video very helpful. I’m curious will this same hitch fit a 2006 Jetta too. My Dad drives one.
Fyi. Important. If doing at home leave fishing wire attached until you have hitch in place and ready for nuts. You absolutely dont want to push bolts into frame. If you leave wire then you can still retrieve if accidentally losing bolts.
Complete different from my experience. I purchase the Curt 11072 and the left (driver's) side arm is 1/2 inch shorter than it should be (lengthwise) It could have been a design issue with the 2016 Jetta, or a manufacturing defect on the batch, when making the weld, which shortened the overall length of the assembly. Pretty much the part does not fit.
Is it very different by year? I have an '04
How different are these installations and kits year to year? I have a 2004 and did not se a video on it.
That's a great install, and the color change was funny. I'm glad I went with Curt for lots of reasons.
Why is it so hard to find hardware replacements
Hello I have a 2012 Jetta SE 2.5L and I'm looking to tow a small light single motorcycle trailer. The bike is a super light race bike not even 400lbs. By using this hitch I should be able to tow everything correct?
Would it be the same process for a 2010 Jetta?
