truth is, all junk western europe cars get sold to eastern europe, instead of scrapping them – where they actually belong.

The golf II was very good! Shame its gone in the US.
My German-built Golf R is way better built than the Mexican GTI i had before.
VW is the biggest automobile company in Europe.. crazy how America is different in os many ways when it comes to cars.
I had one of those made in Pennsylvania VW Rabbits. Unlike the German model, it was pieced to together with parts from all over. Pure junk.
Unfortunately,it it still here in Europe with its crap diesel engines…

VW should leave the US, Americans only want SUV. American could not care less about cars, they only care about basic cheap transportation, lumbering SUVs, and pickup truck. The car scene in the US is sad, few brands, few models, little choice, little excitement, little inspiration. Enjoy driving those boring barges to pickup groceries.

Hey scotty any opinions or advice a on a Suzuki side kick ? It's straight 4 cylinder with a 5 speed manual transmission I work at a junk yard and its been sitting there for a while I believe it got in a fender bender the previous owners didn't have insurance but it was running when brought in thinking about buying it any tips ??

well, the VWs in europe are made in germany
Since some spin on oil filters are mounted vertically & a pain in the rear end to get to. Whould you recommend this Baxter Performance oil filter adapter as long as there is no ground clearance problems or mounting problems? I'm have a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado Z71 crew cab short bed 4WD with the 6.2 liter gasoline engine. And getting a oil filter wrench on it is some times a pain in the rear end.
