Will this apply and fit on a 2019 Jetta GLI?

Hot Take:
I take the plastic pan over a sheet metal piece. The plastic pan is a very high quality part I can tell you that with confidence.
Sheet metal oil pans do 2 things very well:
-Rust
-Have leaks
I'm sorry man I dont see how this is an improvement over the oem plastic pan.
A strong cast aluminum pan would be an improvement but not thin sheet metal

Alin I. says:

If I change the oil pan with this metal one how much quantity of oil I need to put after?În my CJSA originally enter 5.2 L , but on CDAA engine from where is otiginally the steel pan enter 4.6L.

What a stupid car with all the plastic pieces.

OfficialSensezzzTv says:

ECS tuning has a Aluminum pan with a rubber gasket just like the OEM pan. Spend the extra $100 and invest in that. I bought one of these and my first try I had a small leak. Second try it sealed off good and I’m still running it but I have 0 confidence in the sealant, so many things can go wrong if you don’t know how to put the sealant on correctly. I feel much safer with the rubber seal.

Anton Pobigai says:

Hello! I bought the same oil pan in Bartek motorsport. It wasn't a seal ring for the oil level sensor. I used sealant for it. Can you give me part number of the seal ring?

Matt Palmer says:

Would this procedure be similar on a regular MK7 Golf 1.8t?

Adem Essam YUMAK says:

Thanks for the video.. but what is the benefit of metal or aluminum oil pan over the original one?

Mark S says:

I live in a warm and dry climate. Any idea as to how long this nylon/plastic oil pan will last?

Darrin H says:

Silicone is a deal breaker. Why not just design the pan to use the factory gasket?

IconicJustice says:

back when paul used a torque wrench and not just an impact LOL

H A says:

Can you use the same screws and do you need new screws with the metal sump?

Isaiah Martinez says:

Make sure you buy the appropriate sized oil pan bolts!!!! The original bolts will not fit the new steel oil pan

Curious Airlines says:

If I buy this part and bring it to a shop, could they do this for me next time I get an oil change?
