I pop mine out shifting hard into third, I end up with the whole thing in
my hand Lol..
Do you know by any chance if this would work for an ’07 jetta?

@Bruno18bj because mine for example has the black “paint” or whatever it is
coming off so I’ll take off the plastic base and repaint it or wrap it in
carbon fiber vinyl.
@katsasGR Does it matter which gear the DSG transmission would be in when
doing the same??
Im assuming its the same concept with my mkIII gti vr6?
Why would I want to remove my plastic base anyway?

@Corkoth55 You can lubricate with silicon greace the plastic components
…mine was do a noise…and i lubricated the plastics…nothing now.
