Process is also the same for Type 3 and Karmann Ghia.
Where did you get your rims and rotors?
Excellent Job..thank you.
thanks for the tutorial, it was exactly what i’m looking for, and greetings from chile!
Glad it helped out
If they were very worn and binding up they might but you would feel the dragging as you drove along, abit like a stuck on brake.
@cmcquaigue No worries, car work always seems alot less scary when you see someone else do it first.
No worries, not a nice feeling when they go is it? mine was at 70ish on the motorway the wheel locked solid, luckily it stayed on track though.
THANK YOU SO MUCH! 🙂
Thanks Joel for posting this. Helped me with my front bearings. Now when is the Master Cylinder video coming out? Keep up the good work!
thanks from Argentina
another thing..,do the replacement of front bearings change a little bit of the gas consumption? (if they are worn out)
Thanks, and it shouldn’t be too far off, my current MC is just starting to weep abit out of the pedal end, I really need to do something about it before it gets worse.
zzzzzzzzzzz
This is great, thanks. My KG bearing just self destructed while driving 50mph. Fun!
Very helpful, thanks Joel for taking the time – very detailed and, gives me the courage to help maintain my own Beetle’s !
