In this video I show how to replace the rear brake pads on a MK5 VW Jetta. It’s pretty straightforward with this Volkswagen but figured I would do a quick little video since I was already replacing them!

Thanks for the video man. I also order the caliper kit from Amazon link you had
Video is hard to play for some reason.
Other videos play just fine. Weird
My dad thanks you for this video, he was about to give up cause he couldn't figure out how to compress the piston. Had no clue you had to have that special tool. We live in a small town in Texas and no one near us works on Volkswagen so were having to figure everything out on our own. Btw we went to an oriellys and they had that tool set for rent which was is great
Good video man. I've used those hybrid raybestos pads on a 2 or 3 dozen different cars, with their coated rotors. Usually they're great. Haven't been very happy with them on a couple cars though. How have they fared for you?
Like habor frieght car Jack 🙂
…my brakes are a little squeaky today
Yo man. I was always taught growing up that you should bleed your brakes when replacing pads. Is that correct or up to personal discretion, like greasing the new hardware?
you only got yo pull bottem 13mm lift up and slap out
