Just had to say THANK YOU for this awesome, simple, yet detailed video. I changed one today and b/c of your video it took about 15 mins. I don’t know why I never knew the tip of using the pick to break the seal on hoses! Holy Crap – game changer.

My husband and I just finished this job. We dropped two screws, 1 of each kind. Will have to order those from you. My question is this, the sensor would not clip back in. What are we doing wrong?

Gaetan Pappalardo says:

Amateur Question: What do I do with the coolant in the tank? Can I maneuver the tank so the coolant stays in while I take the hoses off — then transfer to new tank? Thanks! This video is going to allow a hack like me to save a few bucks in repairs.

Andrew H says:

Catherine Shock says:

Thank you! Looking at it in my car, it looked like something I could easily do myself but without this video I would have been lost with those screws since they are a weird size (to me, someone having never worked on a car before).
