2014 jetta SE uses a 24 mm axle nut

Rawws 223 says:

Is it normal for the hub to move then the axle is not on ?

Zorin OS says:

My driver side wheel bearing is starting to get loud, I have a 2009 VW Rabbit 2.5 engine 5 speed standard, is this the same bearing for my car.

Tom Markham says:

My hub bolt was a 24mm not 27mm. (2013 Jetta TDI)

diogo rodrigues says:

The Haynes manual state that the car must not be standing on its wheels when torquing the driveshaft bolt, or the wheel bearing will be damaged. What do you guys think about this?

Shawn Walker says:

What is a fair price to replace front wheel bearings to include labor and parts

sszztoetayoa says:

Title says from 05-13 but in the video it’s 05-09, is this the same process on a 2013.

Jh Jh says:

Thank you sir 🙂

Ainstain K says:

Great video…some minor mistakes. You dont want to use long sockets on bolts without supporting with both hands. For example when you were removing 4 tripple-square bearing retaining bolts. Also I checked out your website and your prices are pretty high…for example 2004 VW Jetta, Timken wheel bearing listing for $53 shipped, you can get that exact same product for $28 shipped. Consider lowering your prices and you will have more business.

BEY Co says:

Is it necessary to replace the bolts when doing this job? I need to replace my wheel bearing asap as its completely shot and has a ton of play and wondering if I can do the job without replacing any bolts. Thanks

Griffiss says:

You need to teach your technicians how to use a torque wrench and not way overtighten bolts

Jean Yves KALIVA says:

Great video. Would this be the same procedure for a 2017 vw jetta the very basic model? Thanks.

Vcoldduck says:

My service manual has me tighten the axle bolt to 148 lbs in the air then another 1/2 turn after it hits the ground.

me999 says:

They make a tool to make it easier to reinstall the wheel when using lugbolts. Its a short plastic rod that screws into one of the holes, that you then slide one of the mounting holes of the wheel over, get one or two of the real bolts in,then screw it out..: http://creationsmotorsport.com/index.php/car-parts-168/wheel-tools/vw-audi-seat-skoda-alloy-wheel-nut-bolt-m14-x-1-5-fitting-alignment-tool.html

checkity1 says:

Not sure why you didn't just remove the 21mm bolts on the caliper bracket and remove the entire break / caliper in one piece. Save a lot of time.

Gregory Madsen says:

Excellent video as always! My 2009 cc sport is in need. Would these video directions be similar to my model? Thanks!

Brooke VanMeter says:

Great video my experience was slightly different. My particular model used a 8 mm allen wrench for the brake caliper rather than a T 30 torx bit. Just an FYI
