Craig Inada says:

Thank god you list the right tools for this, in most the other hack tutorials here the numb nuts are using a 7mm hex and SAE sockets.

Tyler Yukich says:

Awesome video! Would it be the same process for a 2012 VW Jetta 2.5L SE?

D B says:

Thanks guys! Always good stuff. Hearing a proper torque spec from a quality mechanic is ultramega awesome. Btw use an old brake pad for piston compression. Everyone give these guys a like, please! Always quality and they didn't try and sell you the unneeded piston compression tool like some others do.

Navid Nima says:

The rotors in the link in the video description are 312mm, but when I called VW to check the rotor size they told me 288 Fronts, and 260 rears. Any thoughts? Thanks!

eric mazialnik says:

It is showing 2 different sizes on your site for my vehicle. 288mm and 287mm, if I order the incorrect one will it even make a difference being only 1mm?

Thor Emblem says:

Great video. Thank you for including torque specs and wrench sizes.

Raffi Merdjanian says:

Thanks! What about the rear brake assembly? Do you use the same torx bits and socket for the rear?

Jorge From Carreço says:

Thank you very much. The fact you mentioned the name of that key T47 you saved me 600 dls.I could not see the type of key.Thank you again for sharing your know how.

Dan Rudd says:

2013 Jetta S 2.0 uses a T45 for the caliper bolts. Just changed my brakes this afternoon and greatly appreciated your demonstration! Thank you so much!

Mikey Rodriguez says:

Will this work on the 2.5l wagon 09?

pom pam says:

I changed the Pads in my Jetta 2.5, after couple of months I have in my dash a circle a brake sensor light, one mechanic said it’s just the sensor not working properly need to change the other one said in vw the pads are connected with the sensor you need to change them both again, need help any advice ?

brad mironik says:

Do you need to bleed the brakes after replacement and how do you accomplish this with abs? I have done brakes on non abs systems before.

Luke Wesley Beck says:

Very helpful video thank you for putting that out! My VW owners manual is less than useless trying to find all that info you provided! Much appreciated!
