YOU GUYS MAKE ME LOOK LIKE SUPER DAD EVERY TIME!!!!!! THANKS FOR THIS!!!
I have a 2003 and it does not have an access from the inside.
great little video! Helped me a lot, thanks!!!
If you take the bulb out there should be a number on it that will tell you what size it is. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
Hi, Thanks for your video it was very informative – i was wondering what the bulb types / models were? thanks.
We currently do not have an auto repair video that shows you how to make this particular repair. If you look underneath the bumper on the backside of the fog lights there should be a few screws that hold them in place. We do carry the replacement fog light on our website 1aauto.com 888-844-3393 Part Number: 1ALFP00076
Hello just want to say I like all your videos but I need help on a 2000 vw beetle on how to replace the fog lights if you can make a video on that, Thanks a lot
If the socket is bad you may need to cut the old one off and splice in a new light bulb socket. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
Good stuff dude
Video was great, but I think I have to change the socket, too, any thoughts?
Thanks !!!
We currently do not.
Do you sell the(interior) cover and thumbscrew?
Thank you for visiting us on YouTube. Glad to see you got it resolved. Have a great day! 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
As I stated the bulbs were working but flashing rapidly. I did figure it out though…actually the problem was caused by the front bulb socket contacts not making good contact with the bulb terminals causing it to have just enough contact to light the bulb but still make it think it had a burnt out one or changed the resistance therefore making it flash rapidly. I hope this may help someone whom may have the same issue.
You more than likely have a burned out bulb. Usually if the turn signal flashes fast like that, it’s to inform you that a turn signal bulb needs to be replaced. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
Helped great to get to bulbs but bulbs for signal are good but they are flashing fast front and rear any idea why?

Thanks! Mine came out a LOT harder than that, but it did. Without the video I would have quit, thinking I’d break something.
The way your lens mounts on your 2008 may attach differently.
Will this process work on a 2008?
Thank you
This video is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!
Thanks A Bunch!!! Just watched this video 20 mins ago and I just finished changing my bulb. I am pleased to say that it worked well and I won’t have to worry about getting pulled over anymore! You’re a lifesaver! 😉
you’re welcome, thanks for watching.
Thank you! Your directions worked perfectly on our 99 Beetle.
Great video. Thanks
Very well done. Easy to follow, well lit & brief. Perfect ingredients. Thanks.
When you take the bulb out it will have a part number on it. You can match it up at the auto parts store, the bulb package will have a number on it for you.
What kind of bulb is it anyway? Model number?
this helped me a lot thank you
Thank you for this video! I just replaced my bulbs and am happy to report that it was as easy as you made it look.
You’re quite welcome. Thanks for checking us out. Have a great day. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
$50? We got quoted $80 at one place and $100 at another. They told us it was notoriously challenging to replace bulbs on a VW Beetle. With the instruction from this video and the “headlight” video, we were done in under 40mins. Thank you so much for these videos, 1A Auto you guys are awesome.
Nice. Great instructions. Well done. Quick and efficient.
You saved me $50 today. Thank you
