When I drive my golf 5 gti the oil pressure warning lights comes on saying switch off the engine.I then switch it off and start again the light doesnt come on againg.What is the problem?

I too, will not leave my key in the car unless the windows are down or I take it with me.
I have the BPY FSI in my Passat too and I'm getting oil pressure warnings. Did you get this? Car runs fine but I'm not risking it getting damaged
Think its about the same on a mk4?
