connect into the volkswagen connector

@Death4nchor That’s beyond awesome man. I’d say F-Zero X is probably my
favorite out of the three. YOU GOT MOOSE POWER

dcbarlow78 says:

Top vid cheers, just done both my 52 plate headlights. The battery got in
the way of the off side light big time, but doing the near side first
helps, especially sussing the metal release catch mechanism and locating
the wings on the black plastic weather seal when putting back on. Cheers.

vliuhk says:

clip)- it rocks!

Philip Beekman says:

fantastic video — watched twice and was able to change both headlights in
10 minutes. many thanks for putting this up.

Jared Fernandez says:

Thanks for the awesome video–I changed mine in 10 minutes thanks to these
instructions! I think that it’s ridiculous that the manual doesn’t offer
any help and just says “it’s complicated–bring it to your dealer.” The
hose that you mention in the video that you don’t know what it does is the
cable that unlocks the hood when you pull the lever. Nothing fragile or
vitally important.

Jake Fehr says:

Thanks a lot man!! Would not have been able to do it without this video.
Had no idea how to detach the securing ring.

Potters get Snitches says:

This is massively helpful, thank you.

London, England.

rzorNvme says:

The hardest part was placing the headlight. For less stress remove battery.
Thanks to this video I knew what to expect thank you mister

Zippy Tee says:

tylertyler82, i feel your pain too. As I’ve got to do the one behind the
Battery now. Prior to this I had dramas with the clip on the bulb..DOH!!

Jamie Knop says:

Thanks for the video. I lots one of the fasteners as it just flung off
somewhere and on the other side I cant get the fastener one. Its near
impossible to fiddle enough in that small space and clip it back on. So at
the moment my bulbs are “lose”. Any tips?

Zippy Tee says:

It beats the haynes manual.. ;o)

Niko Janceski says:

Check wikipedia for Torx, then search the web for Torx screwdrivers.

ManAboutTheHouse says:

Very timely…thanks a bunch!!

BigDaddy0454 says:

Thanks for your directions, very helpful. I found I just didn’t have room
for my hands in the space between the lampholder and the battery so it took
me a while to finish. Thanks again!

bzotheman says:

Very useful. Thank you.
