can you show me how to do the main beam? as i took my side lights bulb for
replacement but I think I accidentally pulled out the main beam wiring.. my
headlights got fog lights built into it..looking forward for your reply..

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO CHANGE THE H3 BULB BELOW THE HIGH BEAM!?! every
site sells the ones with the little rope wire connector but they dont
connect into the volkswagen connector

Top vid cheers, just done both my 52 plate headlights. The battery got in
the way of the off side light big time, but doing the near side first
helps, especially sussing the metal release catch mechanism and locating
the wings on the black plastic weather seal when putting back on. Cheers.

Thanks for the awesome video–I changed mine in 10 minutes thanks to these
instructions! I think that it’s ridiculous that the manual doesn’t offer
any help and just says “it’s complicated–bring it to your dealer.” The
hose that you mention in the video that you don’t know what it does is the
cable that unlocks the hood when you pull the lever. Nothing fragile or
vitally important.

The hardest part was placing the headlight. For less stress remove battery.

tylertyler82, i feel your pain too. As I’ve got to do the one behind the
Battery now. Prior to this I had dramas with the clip on the bulb..DOH!!
Thanks for the video. I lots one of the fasteners as it just flung off
somewhere and on the other side I cant get the fastener one. Its near
impossible to fiddle enough in that small space and clip it back on. So at
the moment my bulbs are “lose”. Any tips?
It beats the haynes manual.. ;o)
Check wikipedia for Torx, then search the web for Torx screwdrivers.

have star on top cant use the reg screw driver.
