Great! I too will now make the switch! As for the coil, "Epoxy" filled or "Oil" filled?? (it appears one has a choice).
Do you have to put a Ground wire for the coil plus the ground from the electric ignition?
I’m running Pertronix 6v and under load the engine misfires badly. I had the red wire from the dizzy going to the coil. Reading up on it, it sounds like it’s cause a voltage drop at the coil and the suggestion instead is to run the red white to a keyed source for 6v. Any tips on what the best setup for that is on a stock 1200?

Did you/do you have leakage coming from the coil? I got the same model coil and it started to leak(not even 1 year old).. I just had to swap to the epoxy flamethrower. They wouldn't accept warranty because it was mounted upside-downish…
