I had this exact thing happen to my Audi A4 at a local mechanic and they couldn't repair it because its a sealed transmission. They had to tow it to an Audi dealership. This all occurred on a Saturday. Sunday Audi service is closed, Monday snow storm and going into Tuesday still waiting for my car. If you have an Audi A4 please tell them where the engine oil plug is every time you go in for service and tell them the correct oil to put in because they almost put in 10W-30 but caught them at the last minute as my car take 0W-30
I do my own. It’s really easy
So they didn’t put a new filter on the car? They would have noticed it was still filled with oil
On the bright side, those plastic pans on both will crack and blow both soon enough.
Does the oil look the same or something too?
Good job it was a no start, couldve ended up worse if it cranked into the oil
To be fare you gotta be a dumbass to do this
Wait. You can run a transmission dry?
Im glad I change my own oil
