Hi, I have 2012 VW Jetta. And AC is working perfectly. Fan is working perfectly. But when I turned on heater unfortunately it’s blowing like a fan. Not a warm or hot. If I replace what you replaced can come heating? I don’t want to damage for the AC because works good.

Tony Marshall says:

Will the resistor be the replacement part if the fan is not running on any of the 4 settings? Also my fan is cycling when the car is not even running. Any thoughts?

Why does this resistor blow? It might help to know the cause so you don’t have to constantly replace it.
