This was very helpful. Completed in a bit over an hour on a 2018 Atlas. No trimming needed. Definitely helped to have a second person and I partially jacked the car up to get some more room to work but not so much that if it fell it would crush me. It helped to have something sturdy to rest the hitch on while trying to align the bolts with the holes.

Just installed on a 19 Atlas S – good instructions. Definitely would be easier to do with a second person and a lift but the install is possible to get it on a garage floor (allow for about 1.5-2 hours this way). Even with cutting away at the underbody spray the passenger side was still tricky to fish the bolt into the frame however the fish wire overall worked well. I did not notice any interference as the other commenter suggested on his 21 but will have to double check. Overall this will be great for my bike racks and small utility trailers.

just a note… I have a 21 Atlas S, I had to trim the plastic bumper trim around the corner ends and the center. It was pinching. It's not noticeable. It also held a lot of water. Not any more.
