So I just put your product on my 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan and as I was torquing
the frame rail bolts to 45 foot pounds, one of the bolts snapped.. do these bolts serve any other purpose other than trailer mounting or are they holding part of the Volkswagen together? Our only use for this trailer hitch is for 3 mountain bikes.
