Bro has the worlds longest ratchet spanner. Been looking at ways to get the belt off without laying on the floor in winter. Chasing a chattering noise so I need to see if its on the serpentine system or the timing belt system. Fingers crossed it's the freewheel pulley on the alternator!

Yeah, you replace the belt, but at the end of the video. Sounds like the pulley were kind of wore out and dry. And you should have checked to see if there's any end play on the pulley, which could cause a slight misalign, which will throw a serpentine belt and I agree with another. Person said all that excessive oil can destroy belts too

Thanks man ! Just followed your video and was able to get it done ! I had an issue with getting the belt wrapped around the back of the crankshaft pulley, but after a while I was finally able to squeeze my hand through the tight space and get it on finally
I got a killer deal on a 2016 cc type R man what a fun good looking car and quick. But I hate automatic. Now I have a GLI jetta loaded with a six speed and the apr stage 2 tune. But it still can't keep up with my audi
