I like the older Ford Ranger trucks. They were tough and hard to break. Not sure how the new Ford Rangers are. My Dad has Ford Ranger that is over 20 years old. It has always been in the garage its entire life and has been well maintained. That truck has never broken down. It even had the bad Firestone tires and those tires lasted to 80,000 miles. His truck looks so good, when he takes it to the dealership for service. Customers think is it a new truck and want to buy it. The blue book price for his truck would be far too low. It just goes to prove what you have said, if you do regular maintenance on your cars they will last much longer. Thoughts?

Toyota cars get crap mileage compared to nissan.
I'm no fan of electric vehicles but I live in the metro Detroit area, land of the Big 3 and I see plenty of Tesla's around here, none of them broken down and the owners of them that I've talked to are pretty happy with them

A RAV4(non-hybrid) is essentially an SUV version of the Camry, the engine, transmission and components are mostly the same. It will get less gas mileage due to more weight but still solid 33 mpg.
