Toyota and people can say that moving production to Mexico won’t affect quality all day long, but the truth is they’re doing it to save labor cost. If they’re telling me saving labor cost won’t affect quality, I wouldn’t believe it. How bout have a Mexican brand move production of their product to Japan for better quality, they wouldn’t do that because it cost more for the labor.
So Toyota is not bankrupting as showed in previous videos???

My 2019 Tacoma (made in Mexico) has been a hot mess in all three areas; quality, reliability and durability. In and out of shop for unscheduled maintenance w/ 30,000 miles. I unfortunately regret the purchase.
My son works at Toyota Mexico plant and they are following US and Japan assembly plans, Mexicans are re-engineering them,
Besides the Tacoma soldin Mexico have more power because of more relaxed environment regulations than California's
if this weld is shotty then prolly the rest of the welds are crap – even though I don't care at all about a child's seat restraint bracket – Toyota boosting 2.5B in NC battery plant, some nice countryside being wiped out in our once beautiful state

Not to mention a huge number of tacomas are stuck in Mexico and have been stuck since around April, i was lucky enough to get mine right before they stopped loading them in Mexico
I have been looking to buy a 2009-2016 Lincoln MKS recently and was wondering if anyone knows if it’s a reliable car and if the regular v6 or v6 EcoBoost engines were both reliable and well made. Don’t know if he takes the questions he answers from and if anyone can help.

Hey Scotty just because the tacomas are built in Mexico does not mean they are crap, I have had US built cars that you wouldn't give a dime for with very poor quality, and fact the workers of the toyota mexico plant are the best paid workers in the country. That is a fact. How many US car companies in the US have recalled cars FORD, GM, CHRYSLER. Salve et habetis bona diem
