Today’s video has been a long time in the making, but it’s finally here – the CORE 4X4 Front Upper Control Arms for the Toyota Platform!

When you lift your Tacoma, the rake angle can cause your spindle to shift, resulting in a quick loss of caster, even with small lifts. As the factory control arm pivots, it causes a loss of clearance around the coilovers and creates a severe ball joint angle, leading to premature failure.

At CORE, we’ve been hard at work developing our Front upper control arms to solve these issues. We weld our ball joint cups at an angle to help restore lost caster and provide a more neutral ball joint angle, reducing stress on your joints. We also use greaseable polyurethane bushings with custom-made independent crush sleeves with built-in spacers for ease of installation and improved arm travel. But what sets us apart is our use of ½” plate steel, which allows us to weld our bushings at an offset, providing increased clearance with your coilovers and greater down travel in your suspension.

We’ve also taken the time to custom-manufacture crush sleeves with built-in spacers to help make installation that much easier!
