All of horror stories about dealerships are true. 99.9 percent of them are crooks. If you are looking for a used car always buy from a private party and always have the car checked by someone who has a high dollar scan tool. Listen to Scotty.

I saw where a Toyota dealer in South Dakota was charging an additional $2900+ for sealant/under coating driving up the vehicles price to as much as $5k above msrp. Buyers need to boycott these scam dealerships.

I've been working on old cars for 20+ years … The aftermarket car part market is going down hill fast… I only use OEM now because I'm tired of having to redo the job almost every time
I with Scotty on OE parts. Often, OE parts can be found on line or even at the dealer for a lower price than aftermarket. Carquest/Advance Auto parts sell World Pac and they have a huge choice of Motorcraft parts.
Big thing to remember-Throw the DORMAN electrical auto parts in the GARBAGE.
My wife and I bought a new 2021 Chevy Blazer 2LT last March 2021.
It was the week vaccines were starting to be distributed in my age group and people were starting to venture out in public again.
Between dealer and GM incentives, taxes, etc we paid approximately $39 K.
I was very happy with my purchase and this vehicle.
I can't imagine paying thousands more over msrp.
