Hey, Scotty! There’s no QC control these days at all. Some years ago I was working on an airport, doing security x-ray scanning for UPS. Most of those packages were super expensive server parts being sent back as defective. So I asked around, what kind of QC do those companies have? I learned that for the producers is way cheaper to ditch the QC all together and leave that job to their customers: if it’s broken, they’ll send you another one!
I will take my Tesla over my Toyota any day dude!

Yep and not just with cars. Boeing has had problems with out-sourcing components for years. With the B777 their partner in Japan had serious trouble building wing components to the required standard & Boeing sent a vice-president and another senior exec. to Japan to sort out the problems. It was all fixed & everyone was happy.
With American gas prices out of control due to Potato head Joe….. I bet they are retooling for economy car production, and slowing down SUV production.
A diesel car usually consumes less fuel than a corresponding petrol engine or petrol car. diesel cars today also good torque even at low speeds. There is more energy in diesel than in petrol
